👑A Queen’s Notebook: A Mother's Day Gift with Meaning 📖

Some time ago, I had the joy of creating a set of small handmade notebooks that touched my heart in such a deep way. They were ordered as Mother’s Day gifts — not just for one woman, but for a few precious ladies from church. Women who faithfully take notes during sermons, who carry wisdom and prayers in their hearts... and now in their purse-sized notebooks, too.

The client chose the Queen’s Tiara pattern for the cover, which made me smile so much. She said, “These women are the pillars of their homes. They are the structure, the strength — the queens in their families.”

And truly, isn't that the most beautiful truth?
I was instantly reminded of Proverbs 14:1:

“The wise woman builds her house,
but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.”

These notebooks were a tribute to the wise women. The builders. The ones who show up, who nurture, who take notes and take action.

Each piece was lovingly stitched by hand, using the buttonhole binding technique that gives it strength and character — just like the women who inspired it. The size? Small enough to slip into a purse. But oh, it holds so much heart.

✍️ A Notebook Always With Me

If you know me, you know: wherever I go, my notebook goes with me.
During church. During a class. During coaching sessions.
If I’m learning, reflecting, praying, dreaming — I’m writing. I always create my notebooks based on what I need in the moment (or just doodle during a long call).

Just this week, I finished my one-month challenge with the amazing Mag’s Coaching, and of course… I printed every message. Every lesson. Every insight and exercise. I answered each one with honesty, glued the sheets in, and made it into a dedicated coaching journal - What a wonderful month we had with her and her team coaching, If you want to know more about her AWESOME services, you can ready about it here.
Now? Anytime I need to return to those truths — I know exactly where to look.

✈️ My Journals Travel With Me

When I travel, I make travel-specific notebooks.
Junk journal style, with room to collage tickets, draw or print little maps, list the places I visited, the meals I tasted, the things I bought, and the thoughts that crossed my mind in each spot. I create pages with my “must-visit,” “must-eat,” “must-remember,” and “don’t forget” lists.

Later, I print the photos and paste them into my smash book or travel album, creating a full experience that lets me relive the trip from start to finish.
As the saying goes… “To remember is to live again.”

And I live through my notebooks.
