📘How I Use My Kedoris Traveler’s Notebook
That’s a love letter, really
There’s something quietly magical about the Kedoris Traveler’s Notebook. It's not just a journal — it’s my portable sanctuary, my little studio on the go, my memory keeper, my thinking place. I’ve used mine in every season of life, and today, I want to open it up for you and share (some of) the beautiful mess I’ve made inside.
Every insert, every folder, every pocket tells a part of my story. Here’s how I use each part of my Kedoris, and why I keep coming back to it — day after day, year after year.
1. Lists, To-Do’s, and Last-Minute Ideas
This is the "catch-it-before-it-evaporates" section. I keep a simple grid notebook right in the front where I dump grocery lists, sticker supply orders, gift ideas, and those 3am creative sparks that feel too random to be real — until they’re not. This insert saves me more than I can say. It's my mental broom closet, but make it cute.
2. Notes About My Projects
Because I love remembering what moved me. I write quick impressions, favorite quotes, and tiny star ratings. Sometimes, it’s a deep thought about a character’s journey. Sometimes, it’s “This Syrah was like velvet and mystery.” Either way, it’s a joy to flip through later and relive the emotions of that experience.
3. Reviews: Books, Movies, Wines 🍷

4. Doodling and Sketching
A blank insert just for doodles, tiny florals, lettering experiments, and the occasional mermaid (I acquire the habit of drawing everyday). I don’t overthink it here — the point is to play. This insert helps me connect with my creativity without expectations. And it reminds me that art can be just for me.
5. Planning: Everyday Life +Trips
This is my grounded section — the one that keeps me sane when life gets chaotic. I use a weekly layout to track events, errands, and appointments. For trips, I’ll insert a special planner just for that destination: flight times, packing lists, places to eat, and cute cafés I’ve found on Pinterest. (Kedoris folders are great for holding printouts and tiny maps!)
6. Memory Keeping (Of Course!)
Here’s where the heart of my notebook beats the loudest. I tuck in photos, dried flowers, ticket stubs, and handwritten notes. I write little reflections of the day, the moment, the feeling I never want to forget. My Kedoris becomes a time capsule, and flipping through these pages always makes me cry (the good kind).
7. Display of My Favorite Quotes
I collect words like others collect seashells. In one insert, I hand-letter my favorite Bible verses, quotes from books and movies, wise thoughts from friends, and little prayers. This insert is like a mirror that helps me come back to myself when I feel lost.
8. Habit Trackers (Why I Love Them So Much)
Ah, habit trackers — my gentle accountability partners. I don’t use them to punish myself for not being perfect. I use them to notice. To track how often I’ve stretched, prayed, drank enough water, or simply rested. They remind me that showing up for myself matters, even in small ways.
9. Journal – Daily Entries
No pressure. Just truth. On days when my heart feels heavy or overflowing, I write. Sometimes it’s one line. Sometimes, it’s a letter to God. This space is where I’m allowed to be unfinished, uncertain, and real. Writing daily has helped me hear my own voice more clearly.
10. Travel Journal
When I travel, my Kedoris becomes my compass. I document where I went, what I ate, what I saw, and how I felt. I love sketching tiny windows, taking photos to myself, saving folders, tags, and pressing in wildflowers I find on a walk. Travel opens up my heart, and this notebook makes sure I never forget those sacred moments.
Why I Keep so many Kedoris
It’s incredibly practical — like, really. I can remove or rearrange the inserts as I need. I reuse my handmade cover and folders for years. It ages beautifully, like something that knows your story. It’s tough enough to toss into my tote bag, but soft enough to cradle in my hands while journaling in the quiet morning light.
My Kedoris Traveler’s Notebook is not just a stationery item. It’s my companion, my memory holder, and my creative playground. Every time I open it, I feel like I’m returning home.
So yes — I carry it with me often. Because wherever I go, life is happening. And it deserves to be captured.
